The Curanderx Toolkit Skillshare

Atava Garcia Swiecicki, auther of "The Curanderx Toolkit," will present a skillshare will focus on ancestral ways of healing – such as sharing with students ways to manage stress through indigenous practices.

Free produce and select grocery items are available every Thursday.

EVERYONE must bring a VALID STUDENT ID with Fall 2024 sticker AND re-usable bag.

The Basic Needs Center partners with the Berkeley Food Network who provides produce from the Berkeley Bowl and items from the Alameda County Food Bank.

Join the State USAW Event at Woodland Community College! 🗓️ The Peralta UCRCs are taking students to hear from keynote speaker Cinthya Cisneros, owner of La Cheve Bakery & Brews. Cinthya’s journey from an undocumented student to a successful Latina entrepreneur is a powerful example of resilience and innovation within our community. 🌟 
Time & Location: We will leave as a group from Merritt College at 6AM together. 🚌 
This event is free, with transportation, lunch, and snacks provided!

Renter's Rights and Resources Workshop

The City of Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board will be hosting a Renter's Rights and Resources Workshop on Thursday, October 24, during College Hour (12:20-1:20pm). The event will be located in the Auditorium, and free lunch will be provided to attendees following the event. Lunch will be served in the Atrium. The primary goal of the workshop is to inform students of their rights and responsibilities as renters.
